Building & BaLA Initiatives
The experiment of using all the places of the school for the purpose of teaching children by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has been named “Bala”.
BaLA is to develop the entire physical environment of Vidyalaya – inside, outside, semi-open space – as a learning tool. The principle is that the School is a special place of learning. School buildings have been conceived to provide shelter to educational activities. The aim of Bala is to use the elements of rain water falling on walls, stairs, windows, doors, roof, trees, flowers or even buildings as a learning resource. For this purpose, efforts are being made to implement Bala concept in PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Narsinghpur, India and Madhya Pradesh will be displayed on the walls of the school. By making maps, children get a chance to understand the geographical location of the country and region and also children practice the mathematical equations properly by showing them on the stairs. Bala Concept is a unique effort to display letters and mathematical numbers through pictures and symbols in the primary department.
